Arn Anderson Reveals WWE Has A No Physical Contact List And One Name On There

The WWE has several lists that matter about television and wrestling internally. There’s a list about moves you can’t do, a list about banned images in the WWE ThunderDome, even a list of banned words and terms announcers can’t use.

Apparently, there’s also a list of people banned from any sort of physical contact in the WWE.

Jerry Lawler made the list following the night he suffered cardiac arrest live on television. Another name added to that list, it seems, is JBL.

During the recent Arn Show podcast, Arn Anderson talked about how Bradshaw is exempt from physical contact on WWE television. After a career ending injury that landed him in the commentary booth, it was the end of him taking bumps and getting physical in the WWE.

“It did and believe it or not, one of the names on the list was JBL. I think he came back from an injury at some point and was doing commentary. He was on that list. The announcers were on that list. It was a very real list. I can’t remember all that was on it.”

Vince McMahon understands the risks of people taking bumps when it could be dangerous for them. It was the reason Daniel Bryan was unavailable for so long, and it’s the reason why we haven’t seen Paige take bumps and may likely never see that again. Regardless, Vince has his list to make sure the people that need to be kept safe are exactly that.
