PCO Reveals Contract Status With ROH
One of the most amazing stories the last few years in professional wrestling is the revival of the career of PCO. The former 1/2 of the Quebecers also had a brief stint as the pirate Jean-Pierre LaFitte in the early 90s before having a career revivial in 2016.
Between having incredible matches at his age and a videos that went viral showing insane acts, his new gimmick revealing “PCO is not human” might have been more fact than fiction. After his resurgance on the independent scene, PCO found himself signed by Ring of Honor, and it seems like after a handful of talks he’s there for a while. He recently talked to Fightful and revealed how much time he has left on his contract and who almost signed him before he ended up in Ring of Honor.
PCO revealed his contract ends in December of 2021 after signing a two-year deal in 2019. During that time, he also confirmed he spoke with AEW “early on.” He had also said he began talking to Marty Scurll, who he thought was representing AEW at the time, but wasn’t. He had also held talks with William Regal about NXT, but they never made a firm offer for him.
PCO said he “has too many goals left to accomplish” which leads many people to think that this time next year, PCO may be one of the hottest free agents in professional wrestling.
