Vince McMahon has a lot of ways he wants his product presented. Whether it’s how he wants his referees to call matches like a shoot, or just the all around presentation of certain characters and performers, Vince McMahon is always very firm in how he wants things.
Recently, it was said part of that presentation is Vince McMahon wanting his heels to look like monsters. Ringside News asked sources to confirm that report, but it’s said that’s nothing new. Vince “always wants monster heels.”
Their report also found out something interesting when it comes to babyfaces in the company. He wants them to “be angry when they sell, not just sell for sympathy.” An explanation like this should help people understand the reason many babyfaces in the company grit their teeth as they’re selling attacks after a beat down. It’s supposed to be a mix of pain and anger there.
Of course, some Superstars are told to sell differently in different circumstances. Lana was asked to cry after her attack this week, Kevin Owens was asked to just lay there during his attack on the recent SmackDown. It basically comes down to if the camera zooms in on a babyface during their selling of an attack, the general look is supposed to angry as well as hurt.
