Due to Jon Moxley being unable to make it to Japan for Wrestle Kingdom 15 next year, the IWGP US Championship will not be defended at the event.
Instead, KENTA is scheduled to defend the contract that guarantees he will receive shot at the title at Wrestle Kingdom 15.
On today’s Road to Tokyo Dome show, KENTA accepted Juice Robinson’s challenge for the contract.
For a long time now KENTA has been going after Jon Moxley for not being able to defend his championship. We will have to see if Moxley will be able to make it to Japan next year.
Wrestle Kingdom 15 will take place on January 4 and January 5, 2021 at the Tokyo Dome.
