WWE is always looking to bring in talent to the company for any of their brands, even as they continue to expand. this means often looking at talent under contract elsewhere and planning on making a move when their contracts expire. Impact Wrestling may have to watch their top stars come 2021.
Many top stars from Impact have contracts expiring at the end of the year, and some of them coming sooner than people think in 2021. It was reported Impact was announcing the wrestlers had signed extensions to their current deals when they had only just signed them.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported WWE has their eyes on several top Impact Wrestling stars, though they haven’t noted who the company is looking at.
WWE has been making overtures now toward some of the top level Impact talent to find out when contracts expire.
Things could get very interesting as the company starts looking at their expansion and these stars could be in the middle of a bidding war between both companies. With the WWE having a little more money to spend than Impact, it might come down to loyalty over anything else.
