Dolph Ziggler Names Three Talents He Feels Are Underutilized
It’s a topic fans talk about all the time. Whether it’s Twitter, message boards, or just conversations with friends while watching shows, there’s always talk of talents that are too good to be sitting around and doing nothing.
Recently, a Twitter user released a tweet asking people to name a wrestler with outstanding ability and almost zero recognition. As fans began giving their replies to the tweet, a surprising response showed up in user WrestlingJebus’ replies.
Dolph Ziggler replied to the tweet, specifically mentioning Naomi, Apollo Crews, and Chad Gable. Many fans agreed with Ziggler, to no surprise.
Apollo Crews was brought up being given a similar treatment to Aleister Black lately. The two were popular with Paul Heyman and received significant screen time while Heyman was the Executive Director of Raw, but has lost almost all his screen time since Heyman’s removal and many have said that since Bruce Prichard took over the role, Apollo has “become a ghost.”
Naomi’s lack of screen time is due in part to her still recovering from an injury. She had an emergency surgery for removing a “massive fibroid” that had been causing her severe pain and issues for several months prior to the surgery. She is resting up for her comeback, which is hopefully soon.
Currently of these three, it seems Chad Gable is starting to get quite a bit of screen time, but it has yet to be seen if it will translate to a push with Gable. He is currently being paired with Otis on television, marking the fourth tag team Gable has been in since being moved to the main roster.
While we don’t know what 2021 will see for those talents, those are just a handful of names the WWE has been under utilizing in the eyes of fans, and there is no doubt more that haven’t been publicly named by their peers.
