Britt Baker Responds To Indy Wrestler Who Claims AEW Owes Him $120
Independent Wrestler Dylan Bostic aired some grievances today, but he probably should’ve done it during Festivus.
Days after independent wrestler Rip Rogers alleged fellow wrestlers Bostic and Flash Flanagan were shorted $80 a piece from AEW, Bostic replied to the tweet alleging his amount was actually $120. Today, Bostic posted a statement clarifying the situation, only to get a response from Britt Baker. Baker clearly was unhappy with Bostic’s timing of his statement in the wake of her co-workers and the company mourning the loss of one of its top stars.
Baker not only dragged Bostic’s statement on its timing, but the fact that included in the statement was tagging notorious AEW critic Jim Cornette in addition to Rogers. Baker even called out his own lack of professionalism which was hinted at in the statement.
Bostic has actually deleted his tweet literally as this story was being written, but Baker’s reply remains active on her Twitter account. We will update this with more as it becomes available. Below is Bostic’s original reply to Rogers on Christmas Day, days before he posted the now-deleted statement. Bostic framed his deleted statement like it was his first response to Rogers’ allegations. Also added into the drama is an account alleging to be Bostic’s mother replied to Baker defending him. This is a strange situation that we’ll update if more develops.
