Kevin Nash Drags WWE For “Very Little” Brodie Lee Tribute On Twitter
WWE released a video upon the death of Brodie Lee, giving a small behind the scenes look at the man their stars knew when he wasn’t being Luke Harper.
The video package only served to confirm a lot of what his colleagues and friends have said, how much Brodie loved his family and how devoted he was to his wife and kids. It was really all they could show, as Lee’s tenure was not really one the company utilized to the fullest extent.
The lack of opportunity given to Lee was only highlighted by his brief AEW run, where he was able to show his skills to his fullest extent, AEW making Lee looking like an absolute top talent that had shown the potential WWE had let go to waste during his tenure. While WWE paid tribute to the man, WWE released a 10-minute video saying “learn a little about the life and journey of Jon Huber in this candid documentary.”
At least one person saw this and felt it was too little and maybe too late from the company. Kevin Nash responded to the Tweet with two words that provided plenty of shade to the company: “Very little.”
Tonight’s Raw should be interesting as WWE will more than likely do a small tribute to the former Wyatt Family member, and AEW will no doubt do something big for the former TNT Champion. Hopefully what they do tonight will appease Kevin Nash far more than what they’ve done.
