Dutch Mantel Makes Ill-Advised Joke About Nashville Suicide Bomber

Depending on your sense of humor, a joke about a terrorist bombing is either dark humor or incredibly tasteless. Timing can also play a factor. When it comes to a recent joke made by Dutch Mantel, your mileage may vary.

The former Zeb Colter made light of the Christmas Day bombing in Nashville. The terrible act of domestic terrorism injured eight people, damaged dozens of buildings, and the bomber died in the explosion. Mantel made a joke that the target wasn’t the AT&T building the authorities believe it was.

Mantel took to social media to joke he wasn’t targeting that building, but the old TNA offices instead.

The FBI just released a new finding in the Nashville bombing case that the bomber was not targeting the AT&T building. He was aiming for the old TNA offices a couple of blocks away.

Mantel tagged Abyss, Sonjay Dutt, Dan Engler, Scott D’Amore, Jake Hager, and a podcast in the tweet, only to delete the original tweet and repost it later. He has since deleted that tweet as well.

Our thoughts go out to the people of Nashville during a difficult time for them. For Christmas Day to be struck by a terrible act of terrorism is senseless and we stand with you during this time.
