Riddle Signs Contract Extension With WWE
WWE has started to invest a lot in the presentation and push of Riddle, and now they have added a brand new contract to that.
Fightful Select has reported Matt Riddle has signed a new WWE contract, an extension worth $400,000 a year. The amount of years has not been disclosed.
WWE had been hoping to get Riddle signed to a new deal before the end of 2020, and it looks like they’ve managed to do so, securing one of Raw’s top babyfaces and a budding star for the red brand.
WWE were hopeful that he’d sign before the calendar rolled over to 2020, and according to sources within WWE, that happened last week. Prior to the re-signing, his contract was set to expire in August after his initial contract that he signed in 2018.
They also added “Riddle was made an initial offer and didn’t seem too interested in renewing,” but then the offer was raised. Thankfully, they’ve locked down The Original Bro for the foreseeable future.
