In promos and advertisements leading up to the New Year’s Day SmackDown, many of the reports said Seth Rollins would be returning to the company on January 1st. Now, it seems like this could be postponed.
WWE has started removing references to Rollins in the preview article for SmackDown, in addition to deleting all mentions and tweets referring to Rollins in regards to his return. While it’s certainly doubtful WWE has had an issue with Rollins, it’s possible they have opted to delay his arrival or they may have taken steps to use it in a surprise fashion.
