Yesterday, it was revealed Brodie Lee Jr. had already begun his blossoming wrestling career with a huge victory. Britt Baker filmed the moment and posted on Twitter Lee’s victory over Adam Cole at the AEW New Year’s Eve party. Well, the leader of the Undisputed Era took to Twitter to give his thoughts on the moment, and it’s obvious he didn’t mind doing the job.
Re-tweeting Baker’s video where the youngster known as -1 delivered a version of his dad’s discus lariat to Cole before Ricky Starks counted the pin for him, Cole not only said his goodbye to Brodie Lee, but showed a lot of love for the young man himself in the message.
Brodie Lee’s passing definitely hurt and affected a lot of people in the industry, but they have all come together to honor and pay tribute to the man. And it’s good to see just what he meant to all of them. Rest in peace, Big Rig.
