Brodie Lee was a huge hockey fan. His Twitter wasn’t afraid to reveal that, and his love became even more obvious as friends and family talked about his passing on social media. In a move that hopefully the Big Rig saw from heaven above to get a good reaction out of him, one of his all time favorite players honored his passing as well.
Legendary hockey player Doug Gilmour, who spent a good portion of his career playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs, responded to a fan who posted a fact from an episode of Talk Is Jericho about Lee where it was revealed Brodie’s agent went out of his way to end every dollar amount Lee got in contracts with 93 just to get a reaction from The Exalted One. The user tagged Gilmour who revealed that he had mutual respect for the late Lee and what a fan he was of Brodie himself.
The stories of Brodie Lee in the days that have passed since his death have only served to reveal what a kindhearted and genuinely good person Lee was and it shows that everyone who encountered him knows just what kind of man Brodie was.
