Dominik Mysterio Looking To Relocate To Florida To Continue To Improve His In-Ring Skills
One of the more pleasant surprises of 2020 in the world of wrestling was Dominik Mysterio. The son of Rey Mysterio made his debut at SummerSlam and surprised many with how polished his in-ring work was, leading for him to become a full time competitor on the main roster.
Though he hasn’t been seen in a handful of weeks due to creative not utilizing him on television, he’s looking to keep improving in 2021 by moving across the country to Florida. Konnan revealed this news on his Keepin’ It 100 podcast, talking about how Dominik will be relocating to Tampa or Orlando to continue his training. Another perk of this will be that Dominik will no longer have to travel across the country for the WWE’s tapings at the ThunderDome.
“It would benefit me to be in Florida in general because I have the [WWE Performance Center] in Orlando and I can pick so many people’s brains there. There’s [Tyson Kidd] in Tampa. I have so many options there to pick and choose from to be able to learn and be able to grow myself as a wrestler. I probably wouldn’t permanently move down there, it’d probably be temporary, just until I can get on my feet in California because I would hate to leave California.”
WWE has internally had high hopes for Dominik since his debut. It has been said that one point he was considered one of Raw’s top babyfaces. WWE seems to think there is a lot of potential in Dominik Mysterio, so steps like this only look to help him meet his potential.
