NXT Talent Allegedly Had Call Up Plans Nixed From Last Friday’s SmackDown
WWE is no stranger to changing plans on the fly. Last week on SmackDown, apparently a plan was changed so deep on the fly, it caused a call up for a talent from NXT to be nixed.
Usually reliable Twitter account WrestleVotes has revealed that an unnamed talent was schedled to make his call up from NXT to SmackDown this past Friday, saying they were written into the main event segment involving Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and Kevin Owens. It was scrapped at some point, obviously as no sign of that call up was made on the show.
Just heard an interesting story… NXT talent was slated to be called up to SmackDown last week, as of showtime, was written into the main event segment w/ Reigns, Uso & KO. Said talent is on tonight’s big NXT card so curious to see if it was pushed a week or scrapped altogether.
While there has been no murmurs as to who might be called up, this is an interesting story we will report on any follow up with if we hear any.
