The 6th iteration of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic begins next week on NXT, with a 16 team tournament prepared to square off for a chance to face NXT Tag Team Champions Oney Lorcan or Danny Burch.
In 2021, we are not just being treated to this tournament, but the women will be receiving an iteration this year as well. On the NXT New Year’s Evil special, Dexter Lumis revealed the women will be having their own version of the NXT tradition. No details have been given about the women’s tournament at this time, but one can imagine WWE is lining things up to help build a successful tournament.
