Around the time of the WWE Draft, news had started to come out that Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle had real life heat. An interview Rollins gave had him give a curt answer toward the prospect of a match against The Original Bro, stating he had no interest in meeting him. The fact Riddle was sent to Raw as Rollins rolled into Smackdown only furthered those rumors.
Now Fightful Select has reported that despite being able to not even look at each other during Survivor Series, they have hashed out their issues.
We spoke to numerous people who were backstage at WWE Survivor Series, who said that it seemed as if the two had squashed the issue between them.
Riddle allegedly talked trash about several WWE Superstars, Rollins included, but another cause of that heat may have been a social media post where Riddle’s wife criticized Rollins’ fiancee’s physique. Obviously, everything in here is rumors from the heat to what caused it, but at least as of Survivor Series the problems if there were any have been squashed.
