T-Bar Of Retribution Claps Back At Poorly Made Comparison To Group And Trump Terrorists
The domestic terrorist attack on Washington D.C. this week has had its own jokes. Several of the more ridiculously dressed or behaved rioters and looters from the attack have certainly given the internet their own share of jokes, but one of them didn’t amuse someone in the WWE at all.
The usually funny Kayfabe News Twitter account, a site that could easily be viewed as pro wrestling news’ version of The Onion, tweeted out a picture, superimposing a Retribution logo over a Trump flag and referred to it as the “worst invasion angle ever.” It was probably not meant to offend anyone, but T-Bar from Retribution saw it and certainly didn’t think it was funny.
His response to it on Twitter certainly had him raise a valid point and also showed just what he thought about the act of terror.
I’m the only white American in the group, so this comparison is not only inaccurate, quite frankly it’s embarrassing. Take your dumb joke and shove it up your ass.
Mustafa Ali has had to deflect terrible things said to him from fans comparing him to a terrorist since joining the faction, so T-Bar no doubt felt this did the group no favors. And while T-Bar himself is no stranger to making jokes, this one certainly missed the mark with him and rightfully so. So far, Kayfabe News has been flippant in their response to fans and others about how tone deaf the tweet is, but with them dealing in satire, it’s probably to be expected.
