WWE Seems To Give Name To Dolph Ziggler And Robert Roode’s Team
WWE often pairs singles stars they don’t have plans to use alone into the tag team division. Most of the time, those duos don’t last long outside a few challenges to the Tag Team Title of their respective brand, but it seems like one of those makeshift teams might just be making their way into becoming a more full time team.
Over the last couple of weeks, Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode seemed to have cemented their return to the tag team ranks after an extended absence from Roode. Ziggler had been teasing something with gear that implied a team name for the duo, but it looks like it’s sticking and being acknowledged by the company. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Ziggler and Roode’s team name has been slowly revealed with them recently wearing shirts calling them the “Dirty Dawgs” and it looks they will be sticking with that going forward.
Roode & Ziggler’s tag team is going to be called the Dirty Dawgs and they came out this week with T-shirts with that name on it
Ziggler and Roode are scheduled for a Tag Team Title shot tonight against the Street Profits. Perhaps tonight may just be the first night we hear that name used.
