MLW Is Working On Developing A Second TV Program
MLW has been garnering significant buzz since their return from shutting down during the COVID-19 pandemic, and now it seems they’re looking to capitalize on it with expanding.
PWInsider has reported that MLW’s representatives ICM Partners is currently in discussions with several networks to bring a second MLW show into development. The show is reportedly being shopped to English and Spanish language outlets.
The second series would be different from their current show, MLW Fusion, which airs on several streaming services, YouTube, and BeIN Sports.
Back in 2020, MLW partnered with ICM to focus on new deals for television and streaming. The company has since reportedly been at CBS/Viacom for meetings and also reportedly took a meeting with Amazon over streaming rights in February.
Fightful reported earlier this month that MLW’s CEO Court Bauer had the company talking to two “tier 1” networks, but offered no further details.
MLW has been bringing in hot independent talent like Hammerstone, Filthy Tom Lawlor, Myron Reed, and ACH as they continue to work on becoming a top independent promotion in the country to rival Impact and Ring of Honor.
