Earlier today NJPW announced the matches for New Beginnings in Nagoya in which Will Ospreay is set to face Satoshi Kojima, on top of this Will Ospreay’s Empire faction member the Great O-Khan is set to face Hiroyoshi Tenzen. On the road to New Beginnings tour the 4 men will face off against each other in a series of Tag Team matches.
Following the announcements, Will Ospreay took to twitter to send a video of his response to the matches;
Will Ospreay would claim that prior to coming to New Japan, he had no idea who Satoshi Kojima was, stating that he was not some sort of wrestling internet geek. He would also go on to remind both Kojima and Tenzen what happened following their 6 man tag match at New Years dash, in which a post match beat down forced Tenzen to be taken to the back on a stretcher.
Kojima would respond to the video, although he was mainly just confused not quite understanding the earlier reference about internet smarks.
New Beginnings Nagoya is set for January 30th from the Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium (Dolphins Arena), Shingo Tagaki defends his Never Open-Weight championship against Hiroshi Tanahashi in the main event.
