Details On Contracts Offered To Members Of Retribution, “Significantly Lower” Than Previous Offers

People don’t always realize it, but stars from NXT get offered new deals when they move from the black and gold brand to the main roster. So when WWE said that Retribution were offered deals as they became parts of the WWE roster, that was more fact than some realize.

Fightful Select has reported the four talents of Retribution, outside Mustafa Ali who already had a main roster deal, were each offered three year contracts worth $250,000 a year. This is news because these contracts are “significantly lower” than other offers that have been made the last couple of years. There’s also no note whether the group will be able to renegotiate when the pandemic ends.

The pandemic has been a huge factor in WWE’s finances in terms of contracts, and some talents are waiting for the pandemic to end before renegotiating their deal. However, it’s unknown how long it will be until that happens.
