All Elite Wrestling Filing Trademark for “Too Sweet”
With the recent merger between Impact Wrestling and All Elite Wrestling, fans are starting to see an old stable reunite for the first time since Japan.
Kenny Omega, Doc Gallows, and Karl Anderson…as well as the possibility of the Young Bucks the group once known as the Bullet Club has reunited.
The stable has been known to use the “Too Sweet” gesture and now that the stable is reunited AEW is filing a trademark for “Too Sweet”.
In the past, WWE sent a cease and desist to the Young Bucks. It appears that AEW is trying to file a trademark similar so that they can cover themselves and allow the group to possibly use the motion.
According to Heel by Nature, All Elite Wrestling has registered a trademark for “Too Sweet” on January 11. With this registration of a trademark this will allow AEW to sell merchandise and be able to use the term in entertainment purposes in a pro wrestling capacity.
It appears that All Elite Wrestling fans will see a lot more of the “Too Sweet” gesture.
