Matt Cardona may have just made history in 2021 by being the first wrestler to work for WWE, Impact Wrestling, and AEW in a calendar year.
However, don’t expect to see Impact as Cardona’s landing spot. If you’re a fan of the Broski, you can at least count on Impact on being the spot to find him for a while. Fightful Select has reported Cardona isn’t locked down to Impact long term.
Matt Cardona, the former Zack Ryder, made his IMPACT Wrestling debut on January 16, and it was said on commentary that “he’s with IMPACT Wrestling,” which is true…for the week. We’re told that as of now, Cardona does not have a full-time contract with IMPACT and is working this week’s television tapings.
Fightful has also reported Cardona has interest from “additional wrestling companies.” In a note on his change of luck, Cardona has actually won every televised match he’s had since his WWE release.
