One interesting plot hole that’s existed in the WWE for years is the fact some WWE Superstars seem to be allowed to just declare for the Royal Rumble while others have to qualify to get in. Shockingly, we got some clarity on those things when Adam Pearce tweeted out clarification on that.
There we go, simple as that. And thanks to Ringside News, now we know why Pearce tweeted it out. It was written for him by WWE Creative, and it gives us reasoning as to why some Superstars are treated differently than others.
Their report also revealed that this kind of thing happens “all the time” where social media posts will advance storylines. In the case of this one, this is official and far beyond some random tweet. Whether or not it gets referenced on Raw or Smackdown is yet to be seen, but it now explains quite a bit.
