One of the things that many people held against Roman Reigns was the fact he retained The Shield’s music when he went solo. While it didn’t keep the call letter intro, it didn’t change the fact the music was still the same.
Reigns was recently interviewed by Bleacher Report and revealed he wasn’t a fan of The Shield’s theme and it’s why he’s looking forward to his new theme music.
“The Shield music, I wasn’t even into it back in the day, but over the years it just started working. You just get so used to something I just kinda timed my pace to it.”
With the new music, it can be hoped that they do even more to reflect the character as perhaps the Shield theme didn’t do much to reflect on who Roman was as a character. With this new Tribal Chief persona, it should hopefully be far different.
