NXT Isn’t A Developmental Territory Anymore According To Daniel Bryan
NXT has certainly gone through a lot of changes since its inception as a reality show back in 2010. Now it boasts some of the most talented wrestlers in all of pro wrestling, putting on excellent matches.
Daniel Bryan spoke to Michael Morales Torres of Lucha Libre Online, where he discussed the ongoing debate on whether NXT is still a developmental territory or a full-fledged brand.
Bryan said that NXT is no longer considered as a developmental territory and added that WWE requires a new developmental territory.
“I definitely don’t think NXT is considered as a developmental territory anymore. Which leaves a question: Do we have a developmental territory? Because we need one to develop talent if NXT is not our development, which it isn’t. Those guys are awesome. And I do consider NXT a third brand for our company.
