The Road to New Beginning continues, this time stopping at the Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo, plenty of great matches on the card including the return of Hiroyoshi Tenzan as he teams with Satoshi Komjima against the Great O’Khan and Will Ospreay. Plus in the main the event the IWGP Super Jr tag team titles are on the line as challengers Taiji Ishimori and El Phantasmo take on the champions El Desperado and Yoshinobu Kanemaru.
Minoru Suzuki and DOUKI vs Jado and Gedo
DOUKI is able to catch Gedo in a clutch pin to pick up the win for his team, Jado looks to now want to take on DOUKI in a one on one match up.
Kazuchica Okada, YOSHI-HASHI and Tomohiro Ishi vs Evil, Dick Togo and Yujiro Takahashi
Okada forces Yujiro to tap out with the Money Clip, it would seem though as Okada and Chaos keep getting the better of Evil and Bullet Club, does Evil still want to take on Okada in a singles match?
Hiroyoshi Tenzan and Satoshi Kojima vs Great O’Khan and Will Ospreay
Hiroyoshi is disqualified for attacking Great O’Khan with a chair, gifting the win to Will Ospreay and Great O’Khan the win, however they were able to get a measure of revenge for New Years Dash, leaving Khan and Ospreay laying in the middle of the ring.
SANADA, Shingo Tagaki, Tesuya Naito, Hiromu Takahashi and BUSHI vs Kota Ibushi, Hiroshi Tanahashi, SHO, Master Wato and Tomoaki Honma (10 man Tag Elimination match)
SANDA and Ibushi were eliminated simultaneously over the top rope by BUSHI after he accidentally ran into them whilst they were on the apron.
Master Wato eliminates BUSHI by throwing him over the top rope and knocking him off the apron. Hiromu Takahashi eliminates master Wato taking him off the apron having already gone over the rope with a Sunset flip bomb.
SHO eliminates Hiromu Takahashi over the top rope and taking him off the apron following a leg sweep and running low dropkick.
Shingo Tagaki eliminates SHO sending him over the top rope and knocking him off the apron with a clothesline.
Hiroshi Tanahashi is able to eliminate Shingo Tagaki using a dragon screw leg whip to knock him off the apron having already gone over the top rope.
Testsuya Naito eliminates Hiroshi Tanahshi with running low drop kick, having been accidentally knocked off the top rope by Tomoaki Honma.
Tomoaki Honma is able to pick up the win for his team sending Tesuya Naito over the top rope and to the floor with clothesline.
IWGP Jr Heavyweight Tag Team Championship
(Champions) El Deseperado and Yoshinobu Kanemaru vs (Challengers) El Pantasmo and Taiji Ishimori
El Phantasmo catches Kanemaru with his Sudden Death Super Kick to get the pin fall, to become new IWGP Jr Heavyweight Tag Team Champions.
Another night of fantastic night of wrestling on this Road to New Beginning tour, crowned off by El Phantasmo and Taiji Ishimori becoming the new IWGP Jr Heavyweight Tag Team Champions in the main event. The Road to New Beginning keeps on going tomorrow night, with a 6 man tag main event as Kota Ibushi teams up with Hiroshi Tanahashi and Master Wato as they face the Los Ingobernables de japon team of SANADA, ShingoTagaki and BUSHI.
