Smackdown Sees Viewership Increase For Third Straight Week
After the New Year’s Day episode of Smackdown took a sharp drop from Christmas Day, the show has steadily climbed in the ratings. Did it continue its ascent?
Showbuzz Daily has reported SmackDown had an overnight viewership of 2.282 million viewers, up from last week’s 2.153 million. It also drew a 0.6 on the valuable 18-49 demographic. Last night was a show boosted by an Intercontinental Title match and an announced Adam Pearce vs. Paul Heyman match at the start of the show.
After a 3.335 million viewership on Christmas Day, the show dropped to 1.915 million on New Year’s Day, only to rise again to 2.0025 million the week after. The show has continued to climb, so hopefully this bodes well for next week’s go home show before Smackdown.
