One of the problems we’ve reported backstage in the WWE recently is the flow of information. It’s caused false advertising on social media, and it often seems like the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing in the company.
Much of the problem with that flow of information is reportedly with Bruce Prichard. Prichard has received tons of heat backstage for preventing opinions of others outside him getting to Vince McMahon, and more details have been revealed about how bad the situation is.
Ringside News asked around about this story and a tenured member of the creative team told them that the current flow of information is “the worst in company history. I mean it!”
Their report revealed Prichard works to block anyone out of Vince McMahon’s attention “except the ones Vince doesn’t let him.” Some of the people listed that Prichard can’t shut out are Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Kevin Dunn, Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman, Daniel Bryan, and John Cena. Anyone outside that list has to take their chance with Prichard before getting an audience with McMahon.
It’s said that McMahon has a few ideas for WrestleMania matches, but he’s kept them to himself, another example of a lack of communication from up top. The lack of communication is also why several people are in the dark about John Cena’s involvement in WrestleMania 37.
