Raw Rating Drops For Final Raw Before Royal Rumble
Last night was the go-home episode of Raw before the Royal Rumble, and with the advertisement of Drew McIntyre and Goldberg appearing, how did it do in the ratings?
Showbuzz Daily has revealed Raw had an overnight three-hour average of 1.819 million viewers, a drop from last week’s 1.854 million but consistent with the week before that.
Three weeks ago was Legends Night, which had the bump of 2.128 million viewers, which covers the start of the year. This week’s three hour average was still a significant increase from the record low 1.52 million viewers in mid-December.
Last night’s Raw had a heavily advertised Women’s Title match of Asuka vs. Alexa Bliss, in addition to the advertised appearances of Goldberg and McIntyre. It also featured an opening hour six-woman tag match that was much maligned due to a botched finish that required a restart and a scary spot that almost left someone injured.
