WWE May Still Add Matches To Royal Rumble Card
The Royal Rumble is on Sunday and only a handful of matches have been announced for the show.
In addition to the two Rumble matches, there are only three other matches booked so far, three less than last year’s event. Will there be more added to Sunday’s pay per view event?
Ringside News has reported the “final card has not been decided yet.” This could lead to more matches added to the show, but nothing is obviously confirmed. The WWE has potential to add Bobby Lashley vs. Riddle after Riddle won a US Title shot on Raw this past Monday, but there is no official announcement for the match.
WWE has also seemingly set up a potential triple threat match between Sami Zayn, Big E, and Apollo Crews for the Intercontinental Title as well, but that may look to get more before anything gets announced there.
As of right now, the card is as follows:
Universal Title Match (Last Man Standing)
Roman Reigns (c) vs. Kevin Owens
WWE Title Match
Drew McIntyre vs. Goldberg
WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles
Asuka & Charlotte Flair vs. Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax
