WWE often uses the Royal Rumble as a night of surprises. WIth the Rumble being the first stop on the Road to WrestleMania, the surprise returns and debuts often set up the scene for bigger things to come for those stars. With the Rumble just a couple days away, many people are speculating who could be a surprise entry and one of those faces people are speculating on is Brock Lesnar.
The Beast Incarnate would be a shock entry, and many would wonder how things would go down should Lesnar win the Rumble itself, especially with his Advocate Paul Heyman now entrenched as the Special Counsel for the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns. However, many fans may not need to worry too much about Lesnar, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Dave Meltzer has reported Lesnar is still not under WWE contract, so he’s not expected to be at the event.
The only thing we do know is Lesnar is not under contract nor scheduled for the show at this moment.
It’s entirely possible things could change between now and then. Lesnar shocked the world and won the Money in the Bank briefcase without people even knowing he would be at the show. While Lesnar isn’t scheduled at the moment, anything is possible.
