Ronda Rousey made her official WWE debut at the 2018 Royal Rumble, shocking the WWE Universe when she revealed she was a full time member of the roster. Now, at the 2021 Rumble, will Rousey make the same surprise and return to shock fans again?
Chances don’t look too good for that.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported Rousey is not scheduled to make a return at this year’s Rumble pay per view. Rousey hasn’t been seen since WrestleMania 35, where she headlined the show with Becky Lynch and Charlotte in a triple threat match where Lynch won the title.
Many betting sites have listed Ronda as one of the favorites to win this year’s Rumble, and it’s still possible this report is wrong. Rousey went through a lot of smoke and mirrors to convince people she wasn’t going to be at the 2018 Rumble. It should be interesting to see what happens this Sunday.
