Game Changer Wrestling continues to do their part to help the independent wrestling community, this time with an innovative 24-hour marathon of pro wrestling airing live on FiteTV and YouTube. Their 24-hour Fight Forever marathon is also attached to an Indiegogo campaign where all proceeds will be donated directly to the wrestlers themselves.
The company set a lofty $40,000 goal for the whole 24-hour event, and though the campaign will go beyond the show and started earlier, as of 2:00p eastern, GCW has smashed their goal of $40,000 by rasing $45,805 as of this writing.
The Indiegogo states that 100% of the raised funds will go directly to all the performers on the show, which is helpful as independent wrestling has taken a big hit during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many shows have been canceled, making earning wages difficult for much of the talent.
