Becky Lynch shocked a lot of people by announcing a brief hiatus earlier this year due to pregnancy. Lynch and her fiance Seth Rollins welcomed their daughter Roux in December, debuting her to the world on Instagram.
Tonight is the Royal Rumble and while many believe Seth Rollins will be one of the surprise returns for tonight, there’s whispers Becky Lynch might just be making her surprise return as well. Could tonight be the night? Chances don’t look good according to the Wrestling Observer Radio. Dave Meltzer talked about Lynch’s return to the company and while it was revealed she’s definitely returning, it might not be tonight.
“She’s on her way back, but I was told not [the Royal Rumble], but who knows?”
Lynch obviously will be in any creative plans for WrestleMania when she’s ready to return, so it’s a matter of when and not if she returns when it comes to what they have in store for her. While tonight would be the perfect opportunity, there’s no certainty we’ll see The Man come around.
