Did Bianca Belair Actually Win The Women’s Royal Rumble?
Last night’s Royal Rumble featured one botched finish, but the internet remains undefeated in pointing out mistakes, and there may have been a major one last night in the Women’s Royal Rumble match.
A screenshot online is circulating of one of the final moments of the Women’s Royal Rumble match where the final two of Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair are fighting as they hang on the ropes to remain from being eliminated. During the scrum, it seems Belair may have had both feet touch the ground, technically giving the win to Ripley who in the shot stil has her feet in the air.
WWE made no reference to it during the broadcast or replays post match, meaning this was not likely an angle that will allow Ripley to have a storyline on a technicality, but that’s not to say that when people realize it that it won’t become one on television. However, with WWE cameras clearly picking up Belair’s feet on the floor, it’s hard to argue that it can’t be discussed.
