Kane continues to do a unique job balancing his job as the Mayor of Knox County, TN and his life as The Big Red Machine. However, these two jobs have allowed Kane to do something wonderful for his constituents at the same time.
WVLT out of Knoxville has revealed Kane will donate his paycheck from appearing at last night’s Royal Rumble to the Knox County Mayor’s Applied Technology Scholarship Fund for TCAT Knoxville.
The story also revealed Kane took a rapid COVID test before leaving his office for the weekend, another when he arrived at Tropicana Field for the Rumble, and before returning to work today. According to his office, he wore a face mask and socially distanced when he wasn’t performing. It was Kane’s 18th Royal Rumble appearance, adding to his record for most appearances in the match, and entered appropriately at number 18.
The story also tied into another Knoxville presence as they also reported on Bianca Belair’s Women’s Rumble win. However, she may have a bit of a dubious hold on being able to call herself winner.
