Kip Sabian Reveals He And Penelope Ford Are Actually Getting Married Tonight On Dynamite

Love is in the air around tonight’s AEW Dynamite, as on night one of Beach Break, Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford are getting married, with their best man Miro present. While we’ve all seen pro wrestling weddings before, this one may be slightly different from previous trips down the aisle in a wrestling ring.

This is an actual wedding.

Kip Sabian talked to TV Insider about tonight’s wedding on the show and revealed that it’s far from an angle. It’s no secret Sabian and Ford are a real life couple that are actually engaged, but Sabian revealed tonight’s wedding is legitimate. The two are actually getting married in front of fans tonight on Dynamite.

“We’re getting legitimately married. I obviously wanted my parents to be there, but they understand the situation. They’ll be able to watch from home.”

“We could get married in our house and be just as happy. We’re people who just want to be married. Down the line, once COVID is hopefully eradicated and things are OK, we’ll have a celebration, party, housewarming combined where all our families can be there.”

While that’s not an indication whether or not there will be shenanigans like any wrestling wedding in the past, we do know this one will have a very unique distinction in the halls of pro wrestling wedding moments like Al Wilson and Dawn Marie or even Lana and Bobby Lashley.

It’s still a pro wrestling wedding though, and like contract signings, those usually don’t end well.
