NXT is shaking things up Valentine’s Day with their next TakeOver event, and this time, it’s out for some revenge.
NXT revealed on social media today that their next TakeOver event is titled Vengeance Day, with the date already revealed. The Vengeance Day logo is reminiscent of the WWE’s old Vengeance pay per view logo, making use of a long dead WWE property for NXT. It’s a different change from previous TakeOvers and NXT specials that have used old WCW property names to make them feel special.
So far, only one match is confirmed for TakeOver, a triple threat for the NXT Women’s Title between Io Shirai, Toni Storm, and Mercedes Martinez.
