Update On Plans For Elimination Chamber PPV
Yesterday, we reported on the plans for this year’s Elimination Chamber pay per view. It seems like we’re destined to have both titles defended in the structure this year, with no plans for a women’s Chamber match this year.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter confirmed the Ringside News report that it seems like the Universal Title will be defended in the other Chamber match, but it also has very vague details so far.
At press time there was to be a Smackdown match with Roman Reigns defending the title. We don’t know the participants, other than Kevin Owens is an obvious one.
Tonight’s Smackdown is one of two they have before the pay per view, so one can only imagine they’ll begin the process of naming challengers for the match tonight on SmackDown. However, anything can happen and changes could be made between now and when the show goes on air, so we’ll have to wait and see.
