Lacey Evans threw the WWE Universe for a curve tonight on Raw when she announced she was pregnant. The announcement of Evans’ pregnancy suddenly threw many things in a loop, as she was scheduled to meet Asuka this Sunday at Elimination Chamber.
Ringside News has reported that despite being pregnant, the plan is to keep Evans on television for a couple of months. Obviously, this could change all things considered. Pregnancy can be unpredictable and Evans health and well being for her unborn child will always come first.
The site was also told by their source who is directly involved in the situation that the plan is to continue on with Evans’ storyline with Charlotte Flair. While it’s impossible for the feud to have a blowoff match, she is sticking around to see things through but the site was told “I do not think they have anything in mind.”
Given that we heard before the show the company was making changes to a major angle on television, this seems to be the case, as her pregnancy also means effectively her match with Asuka this Sunday is off.
