Austin Aries Creates Stir By Revealing He Will Not Abide By COVID-19 Guidelines At Meet And Greet
Austin Aries has been pretty clear in his views about COVID-19 since the pandemic began. Firmly against mask regulations for safety and much of the work that has been put in by confirmed doctors and scientists into what works. Now, Aries has added to his controversial views by creating a situation that could become a super spreader event and put several people at risk.
Aries took part in a meet and greet this weekend in Queens, New York for the Wrestling Universe store, where one of the organizers of the event took to Facebook to tell anyone who was coming to the meet and greet about Aries unwillingness to wear a mask during the signing. The organizer added that Aries was encouraging fans to not wear masks during their photo ops with the former ROH Champion, which set off a lot of issues among people. The promoter has either locked the post to friends only or deleted it since, but a fan screenshot the post leading people to comment on the danger of the situation.
Aries has caused a lot of issues with fans and even started a brief Twitter spat with comedian Bob Saget for his views, and based on the replies to all the news, it’s clear that fans are starting to turn their back on him for his lack of safety or concern for his fans and fellow people.
