The inevitable has happened, The Miz has cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase.
Following the main event, which saw Drew McIntyre retain the WWE Title in an Elimination Chamber match over Kofi Kingston, Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles, Sheamus, and Randy Orton, Bobby Lashley attacked the WWE Champion for seemingly no reason other than being enraged over losing the United States Title earlier in the show.
With McIntyre incapacitated, the Miz used his briefcase to cash in. Despite not instantly winning and McIntyre giving his best effort, The Miz eventually put down McIntyre to secure his second WWE Title reign and his first since his original cash in against Randy Orton back in November of 2010, where he held the title until May of 2011.
