British Wrestling Promotions Start Preparing For Restart In July With Lock Down Restrictions Being Eased

Earlier today British Prime Minister Boris Johnson addressed the nation as he laid out his four step plan regarding the easing of restrictions following the current lockdown. Stating that Spring and Summer should be seasons of hope. With this air of hope towards the summer many British Wrestling Promotions took to twitter with hints that they are planning and hoping that they can run shows with limited crowds in June.

British Wrestling Revolution (BWR) took twitter announcing that they unfortunately will have to cancel shows planned for 5th of April and 28th June but are hopeful they will be able to return to action on July 9th.

Wrestle Carnival have hinted at some big news coming this week, most likely to once again announce their debut show.

TNT Extreme have suggested that they will be going ahead with a show planned for June 26th at The Hanger in Manchester, reminding fans to pencil the date in their diaries, noting that they’ll hopefully be releasing Ticket info soon.

North Wrestling (NCL) tweeted a cheeky message that we may see them this year after all and that they better get to work.

Wrestle Island have taken a more a cautious approach noting that they will not announce shows or any ticket information until they are 100% sure the show will happen.
