After weeks of wondering, it seems a decision has been made on the future of Rhea Ripley.
After several months of teasing her arrival on the main roster, WWE finally used this year’s women’s Royal Rumble match to confirm Ripley’s arrival. However, she has yet to be seen on television since the pay per view. It’s been said Ripley’s name was coming up in creative team meetings for both brands, but now it seems like Raw is the brand she will end up on.
Tonight on the show, Raw aired a vignette signalling the arrival of the former NXT Women’s Champion and NXT: UK Women’s Champion. With WrestleMania around the corner and no clear cut opponent for Asuka, it might be time for Rhea Ripley to prove she’s better than Asuka. Though that’s speculation, it’s good to know Ripley will finally have a home on the main roster with the red brand.
