Tony Khan Reveals Second AEW Show Will Come To Warner Media In 2021
There has long been talk of AEW getting a third hour of television in their deal with Warner Media since AEW signed a new contract with TNT back in January of 2020. The whole year passed with no new show and now AEW has announced a second YouTube show in AEW Dark: Elevation.
The show was announced today in the press release that revealed the company had signed Paul Wight. With the new show announced and Wight’s involvement in it now revealed, some believe the new show is further from being seen than ever. However, after Raj Giri from Wrestling Inc speculated the new show on TNT is nowhere down the pipeline, Tony Khan took to Twitter to reveal that isn’t the case.
That’s also still happening in 2021! And we’ll have more info tonight on #AEWDynamite about the arrival of @PaulWight here in @AEW, and about the launch and details for #AEWDark: Elevation, which is coming very soon!
Khan did reveal at one point the third hour of programming wouldn’t be called Elevation, and now we have confirmation on that. Now we’ll have to wait until tonight to hear more about AEW Dark: Elevation and Paul Wight’s involvement.
