Young Rock EP 02 Review
The second episode of Young Rock centers around teenage Dwayne trying to impress the most popular girl at school Karen. Meanwhile, Ata has a new wealthy client.
This second episode was very easy to watch, just like the previous episode. The episode focused completely on teenage Dwayne and did not jump between timelines like we saw in the previous episode. The episode felt more focused by staying in just one period of time instead of the format of three different periods of time like we saw last week.
One of the most distracting things about this episode was the person that played the role of Ric Flair, this was because he did not looks like The Nature Boy at all. This was probably the only negative thing about the episode.
Bradly Constant did a great job a 15-year-old Dwayne and made the character feel relatable during the entire episode. Joseph Lee Anderson for the second week in a row did a wonderful job as Rocky Johnson.
One thing I absolutely love about the first two episodes is the love and respect they give to the world of pro-wrestling and how they portray it in the show.
Next week episode will help everyone watch get an idea what the personality of the show will be going forward.
