Bad Bunny has been putting in a lot of work with the WWE since they began their relationship at the Royal Rumble. He’s been a constant fixture on RAW and recently became the WWE 24/7 Champion, taking the belt with him to his SNL performance. He’s getting himself prepared for a match at WrestleMania, as it seems almost locked in he and Damian Priest will meet The Miz and John Morrison in a tag team match.
It’s the enthusiasm and the work ethic that’s had a lot of people praise him backstage, and Fightful Select has reported that the rapper would like to continue his relationship with the WWE beyond this. Nearly a month since his arrival, a time when the novelty may wear off to some of the locker room, it’s being said that he’s great to work with backstage. Their report says he’s happy to be there and game for anything, also saying Bad Bunny is “excited to do business in the future.”
One Raw wrestler said that Bad Bunny treating the situation seriously made a great impression on several in the locker room, and pointed to him as a positive example of a celebrity in wrestling.
WWE has often partnered with celebrities to make great moments for pay per view and television, but it’s obvious Bad Bunny has worked harder than most of them and will have some of the most involvement of any celebrity they’ve partnered with. It may just be a successful partnership that could lead to bigger and better things.
