Brian Pillman Jr. Reveals He Suffered Broken Ribs During Match On Last Night’s Dynamite

Last night on Dynamite, The Varsity Blonds team of Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr. took on Team Taz’s Brian Cage and Ricky Starks in an effort that left the Blonds brutalized by the Team Taz duo ahead of their showdown against Sting and Darby Allin in a street fight at AEW Revolution. Unfortunately for the Varsity Blonds, the match took a little extra toll on them.

Pillman took to Twitter to reveal that he suffered broken ribs in the match when he hit the ring stairs during the course of the match. While putting over the duo, Pillman dropped that information and while it’s unknown if it’s a legit injury or a work and how long he’ll be out of action if the injury is legit, Pillman’s current state helps add to the aura of viciousness the duo has.

Considering the mood Team Taz was in after the match when Sting showed up with Taz’s son Hook in a bodybag and Darby Allin ziplining down to the ring to ambush Starks and Cage, Pillman and Garrison should probably be glad their match took place before that.
